One of Van’s personal maids who serves House Fertio. She dotes on Van like an older sister, to the point that she follows him after he is banished. She has a cheerful personality, and praise easily goes to her head.

He has a heartless father and was saved from being sold into slavery by Van. Because of that, he is devoted to Van and has sworn absolute loyalty to him.
Panamera Karla Kaien (VA: Yoko Hikasa)
A powerful member of a noble family who rose from knight to viscount in a single generation. She has a bold and honest personality and is Van’s good friend and occasional ally. She has an aptitude for fire magic.

The youngest daughter of Count Ferdinand. She is shy and quiet. Due to her aptitude for the shunned marionette magic, she had an unpleasant childhood. But her closed-off heart slowly begins to open after meeting Van.

He was the head butler of Fertio House but retired due to his age and accompanied the exiled Van to a remote village. He is extremely serious but watches over Van like a grandfather. He has an aptitude for earth magic.

Deputy Commander of the Knights of Fertio House. Sensing a bright future in Van’s swordsmanship and boundless military potential, he accompanies him to a remote village. Brimming with chivalry, he is trusted by his subordinates.

Leader of the adventurer party who agreed to escort Van on his journey to Seatoh Village. Moved by Van’s determination and sincerity, which is unusual for a noble, he makes Seatoh Village his new base of operations.

A member of the adventurer party together with Ortho. Attracted by Van’s charisma, she chooses to stay together with him in Seatoh Village. She has an aptitude for water magic.

A member of the adventurer party together with Ortho. As a scout, he is highly agile and supports the party by making use of his mobility in combat.
Lada Priora (VA: Nonoka Obuchi)
A mysterious half-human, half-fish demi-human who lives in a beautiful river deep in the forest. She has always avoided contact with humans. However, she begins living by the lake in Seatoh Village as she has deemed it to be safe. She introduces herself as Van’s fiancée.
